Care Innovation Challenge

Anyone keen to come up with new ideas for solving problems in the care sector is invited to apply for a Care Innovation Challenge weekend in July.  Cash prizes, expert mentoring and the prospect of media coverage are on offer to the creative thinkers who participate in the weekend, hosted by the Care Innovations Hub, a platform for exploring new ideas hosted by the National Care Forum (NCF).  “This year the Challenge Weekend is open to everyone working, studying or living in the Midlands,” said NCF chief executive Vic Rayner. “We are looking for people from diverse backgrounds and from a range of disciplines to think broadly on ways to create positive change.”  Successful applicants will be able to generate new ideas and trial prototypes of them. The winning team will receive £1000 in prize money and further mentoring to develop their idea.  www.careinnovationhub.org.uk
