Church commission on the future of care

A church commission on the future of care has launched a public consultation inviting individuals and organisations to contribute views on what is working well in care and what needs to change.

The Archbishops’ Commission on Reimagining Care aims to reshape the national response to ageing and disability by identifying practical ideas and gathering examples of good practice.  The commission is chaired by Dr Anna Dixon, former CEO of the Centre for Ageing Better, and the Bishop of Carlisle James Newcome.

“We would like to encourage you to contribute as we believe this Commission and its ultimate report will have a significant role in shaping the way care and support is provided in England in the future,” the Commission said.  The listening and engagement exercise ends on 10 December.  www.archbishopofcanterbury.org
