Social-Ability: Transforming Dementia Care Through Meaningful Moments
Social-Ability is dedicated to improving quality of life for people living with dementia and other cognitive challenges. Our flagship innovation, the Happiness Programme, is now used in around 1500 communities across the UK, Ireland, Canada, the USA, France and South Africa. The programme combines interactive light technology with evidence-based content, staff training and family engagement to create genuine moments of joy for people at every stage of their journey.
The Happiness Programme offers far more than technology. We deliver visiting with purpose workshops for friends and relatives, intergenerational Happiness Parties through our schools programme, and unlimited training and support for teams. Our partnerships with the Alzheimer’s Society, Sport England, the National Dementia Care Accreditation Scheme (NaDCAS), My Life TV and Zinnia TV strengthen the impact of the programme with research, specialist content and sector-wide collaboration.
