2026 UK Dementia Awards Highlights
What an incredible finale we had at the UK Dementia Awards 2026.
Held at the historic Coombe Abbey Hotel in Warwickshire on the 30th April 2026, our gala lunch and ceremony saw us welcome so many inspiring individuals and organisations from across the dementia community to celebrate the people making a real difference to the lives of those living with dementia.
From celebrating achievements to reconnecting with colleagues and peers, the afternoon highlighted the incredible dedication and innovation taking place throughout dementia care.

Our People’s Choice Winner 2026
Chosen by you, our Dementia Community Members, we were delighted to congratulate Vicky Brown, Founder of Dave’s Legacy, as the winner of the People’s Choice Award. This special award recognises an individual who is making a difference for people living with dementia and whose impact is deeply felt and appreciated by the dementia community.
“Winning the People’s Choice Award for Dave’s Legacy has been an emotional and deeply humbling experience, and I am so thankful to everyone that voted. I was inspired and moved by so many people at the awards – it really is a team effort as we all strive together to improve the lives of people living with dementia. Winning this award, and the recognition that goes with it, will really help support my conversations with healthcare organisations about Dave’s Legacy, which uses my father’s experience in hospital in his last few weeks of life as the catalyst for positive change.“
