Dementia Disco

People living with dementia often face social isolation and a lack of opportunities for joy and physical movement. At Dementia Disco, we want to give everyone living with dementia the opportunity to dance everyday to improve their mental and physical wellbeing. We run monthly weekend discos across England, from as far as Seahouses in the North to Merton in the South.
We provide people living with dementia, their carers, family and friends the opportunity to experience a night out in a safe space. A chance for normalcy, connection, joy and of course dance! The discos are fully funded, free to attend, with a free meal, at the weekends, in the early evenings. We also provide discos in care homes. We empower local communities across England and Wales to run their own discos by providing them with a toolkit and support.
