The MedicAlert Foundation, endorsed by the NPCC and working with leading dementia charities, provides the Herbert Protocol as part of our free dementia safeguarding service. You can securely store a digital Herbert Protocol for someone living with dementia, which is then validated by one of our Registered Nurses. The Herbert Protocol includes vital details such as medical information, routines, and a photo. If they are reported missing, this information can be swiftly shared with the police to aid their safe return.
