Summary
Have you ever thought about sharing your lived experience to inform research? In this workshop, we’ll talk about what patient and public involvement (PPI) is, why it matters, and how by working with researchers you can help to shape dementia research. Sharing our work with the NIHR Dementia and Neurodegeneration Policy Research Unit at Queen Mary (DeNPRU-QM), we hope that we can demonstrate the value of diverse voices and experiences informing research. There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion.
