Summary
This presentation will detail a project completed by Dementia UK to promote the voice of men living with dementia. The aims of this piece of work were to give people hope and humor, as well as cut through to a male audience that often proves hard to reach.
This presentation will share the co production story between our Comms team and the Lived Experience Advisory Panel, that resulted in bringing together two men embarking on very different dementia journeys, one as a carer and one living with the condition, to create an insightful series of content based purely on their open conversation. Both men have seen first-hand how difficult friends and family have found it to talk about dementia with them.
The short film will be released in June 2025 and its impact will be evaluated, the results of which we hope to share as part of this.
