3 Nations Dementia Working Group
Summary
We are a group of individuals living with young onset dementia seeking to host an interactive stand and several “story tables” at the Dementia Community Congress in Manchester, 3–4 November 2025. Our stand will be staffed by two people diagnosed with early onset dementia, providing direct insight and engagement. Scattered throughout the hall, 3–4 tables will be hosted by others with diverse dementia experiences, sharing personal stories to highlight that “one cap does not fit all” in dementia care and diagnosis. These tables will serve as invaluable Q&A workshops, enabling clinicians and academics to engage directly with those living daily with early onset dementia. We hope to operate on both days, fostering understanding, challenging stereotypes, and promoting meaningful dialogue between professionals and the dementia community.
