Jeremy Isaacs has been NHS England’s National Clinical Director for Dementia and Older People’s Mental Health since April 2024. He is a consultant neurologist at St George’s Hospital and Kingston Hospital. He was Clinical Director of the NHS London Dementia Clinical Network from 2019-24 where he developed and led the first national memory service audit. He is an honorary reader in neurology at City St George’s, University of London, where he developed and co-leads the MSc in Clinical Neuroscience Practice. He has research interests in Alzheimer’s disease, vascular cognitive impairment and functional cognitive disorder.
