Learning needs of general hospital clinical staff: Preliminary results from a mixed method study

Addressing the need to develop a well-informed and effective workforce in general hospitals, as highlighted in the National Dementia Strategy, Dr Andrew Teodorczuk and colleagues in Tyneside are undertaking a programme of research aiming to identify education and training deficiencies. Here they report on a preliminary study which revealed a range of carer and professional perspectives.
