Singing as a therapeutic intervention in dementia care

The value of background music or dedicated music therapy sessions in enhancing well-being for people with dementia is well known, but they have limitations. Steven Brown, Eva Gotell and Sirkka-Liisa Ekman propose the third way of singing as a therapeutic intervention to accompany daily routines and activities.
