Casting Call – CBBC Operation Ouch!

CBBC (Children’s BBC) and Objective Media Group are making a special programme for Operation Ouch! about dementia and are looking to cast a young person and their family to share their experiences.

Operation Ouch! is a long-running, BAFTA-recognised series on Children’s BBC that helps children aged 6–12 understand the human body and the people who care for it. The aim of the programme on dementia is to help children understand what dementia is, how it can affect the people they love and what they and medical teams can do to help, including the latest thinking on treatment and research.

The production team would like to hear from families who have a grandparent or parent living with dementia and that have within their family a young person aged 7 to 15 who would feel comfortable sharing their experiences on camera.
