Scarf for Lewy coming to Scotland in 2027

The Scarf for Lewy event, which has been running since 2022, is coming to Scotland for the first time.

The event will take place at Usher Hall in Edinburgh on Monday 19th April 2027. Before then, anyone able to knit or crochet a scarf is being invited to do so – scarves should be 30cm wide and can be any length.

Jacqui Cannon, Chief Executive of the Lewy Body Society, says:

“Scarf for Lewy has brought people together across the country and helped us start important conversations about a form of dementia that is still not widely understood.

We are very pleased that our superscarf will be coming to Edinburgh in 2027. Every contribution will become part of a striking public display, while showing people living with Lewy body dementia and their families that there is a community standing alongside them.”
