Alzheimer’s Research UK publish a policy report on dementia treatments
Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) has published a policy report entitled, ‘Dementia Treatments: An Opportunity to Deliver for Patients and Drive Economic Growth’.
The policy report urges the UK government to:
- Future-proof approval of new treatments
- Work with the NHS on diagnosis, service delivery and research
- Use NHS data to enable access to treatments
Alzheimer’s Research UK say:
“With 138 Alzheimer’s drugs in 182 trials worldwide – and 31 already in phase 3 – the treatments pipeline is stronger than ever. This is a huge opportunity to improve lives and drive innovation.”
