Charities call for national data collection system for newly licensed dementia drugs

Alzheimer’s Research UK, The Alzheimer’s Society, Dementia UK, Alzheimer Scotland and the Royal College of Psychiatrists have joined together to create a policy briefing on implementing a national system for collecting data on newly licenced dementia drugs.

The charities have written to Dr Jeremy Isaacs, the National Clinical Director for Dementia & Older People’s Mental Health at NHS England, urging him to lead on the data collection system they are proposing.
