The Community of Practice is part of the Childhood Dementia Initiative (located in Australia). As part of the focus on childhood dementia in Australia, Dementia Australia recorded an episode of their ‘Hold the Moment’ podcast about this topic.

The podcast producers say:

“In this episode of our Hold the Moment podcast ‘Childhood Dementia: Holding Onto Hope’, you’ll hear from parents Rachel and Eli who are using their experience to raise awareness about childhood dementia.

We also talk to Megan Maack, founder of the Childhood Dementia Initiative and a parent herself, who is working to connect families, improve healthcare and push for the research that could one day change everything.

This episode is about grief, love and refusing to give up.”
