DRAGON network launched in Manchester

DRAGON (Dementia Research Action Group – Our Network) has launched at an event jointly hosted by Dementia United and the University of Manchester.

The network has been co-developed by people with lived experience of dementia and researchers. It is funded by the University of Manchester ‘Teams Build Dreams’ research programme and the NIHR and Alzheimer’s Society, as part of the DEM-COMM programme.

It is intended that the DRAGON network will meet regularly and encourage people from diverse communities with lived experience of dementia to share their stories, shape dementia research and advise researchers.

The organisers are still looking for people with dementia to join the DRAGON network. You can find out more by emailing sarah.kirkland@nhs.net
