Emma Wolverson joins GIAM as a Professor of Ageing and Dementia

Emma Wolverson has joined the Geller Institute of Ageing and Memory (GIAM) at the University of West London (UWL) as Professor of Ageing and Dementia. Her role is research focused and she will be leading on funded research projects in dementia care.

Emma is Research Lead at Dementia UK, and part of Dementia UK’s Research and Publications Team. She says:

“I am excited to be joining GIAM’s vibrant and interdisciplinary team. My research programme centres on times when people living with dementia and their families need more support, such as during a mental health crisis and at end of life. My hope is to deliver research that will have a real-world impact in health care settings and improve the care of people living with dementia and their families.”
