Living Alone with Dementia project films go live

The Living Alone with Dementia project has shared seven films for Dementia Action Week 2024 to highlight the importance of recognising people who live alone with dementia.

Two gentlemen living with dementia – Wayne and Michael – share their views, alongside Tim who is a Commissioner, Zoe who is a Locality Manager for Skills for Care and Karen who is Head of Research for Dementia UK and Admiral Nursing.

In Wayne’s words:

“It’s maintaining your independence, you know, that has to be the aim of everything really.”
