NAPA launch Dementia Strategy

The National Activity Providers Association (NAPA) have launched their new Dementia Strategy. It is intended to be a blueprint for activity provision that will enhance lives and encourage meaningful person-centred experiences for all people living with dementia. 

NAPA want to enable people living with dementia to experience support, understanding and joy through their key focus areas which are: 

  • Empowering Activity Providers with the necessary knowledge and skills required to adapt activity programmes for individuals affected by dementia.
  • Elevating awareness and understanding of dementia for more inclusive activity and engagement.
  • Embracing innovative approaches to enhance quality of life for individuals living with dementia.
  • Enabling a supportive network that promotes connection, empathy and shared experiences.
