NAPA launch technology toolkit

The National Activity Providers Association (NAPA) has launched an activity toolkit entitled ‘Technology in Activity Provision’.

The toolkit is designed to help activity practitioners use technology to complement their practice, including to support music and reminiscence activities and maintain connection with family members and friends via video calls.

NAPA describe their vision for using this resource as follows:

“This toolkit has been created to build confidence, offering practical ideas and real examples from care settings. It recognises the realities of busy teams and supports flexible, person-centred practice.”

NAPA stress: “Technology should never lead. People should. Always.”

NAPA are interested in hearing from any activity professionals using technology to support wellbeing. You can email NAPA with your experiences here: mike@napa-activities.co.uk
