The National Activity Providers Association (NAPA) has shared ‘Listening to residents’ voices – Help shape research’, a guide aimed at activity staff, care home managers and care home teams to show how listening to residents’ voices, and linking with research projects, can be an enjoyable and meaningful activity for older people living in care homes.
The creation of the guide was led by the CHAPPI (Care Home Activity Providers facilitating Public Involvement in research as meaningful activity for care home residents) research team (which includes social care professionals, the National Activity Providers Association and Skills for Care) and was funded by NIHR.
