The British Dietetic Association (BDA) has collaborated with the National Association of Care Catering (NACC) to launch the Care Home Digest, a menu planning and food service guideline to support care homes.
The BDA’s Food Services Specialist Group and Older People Specialist Group worked on the resource, and it is described as a ‘first of its kind’ in England which is intended to compliment existing dietetic guidelines available in other UK nations.
It includes a chapter on dementia which begins on page 87.
