People living with dementia wanted for study into personal care

Tamara Backhouse, a researcher at the University of East Anglia, is looking for people living with dementia to take part in research to understand how best to improve personal care for people with dementia. The aim of the research is to inform the development of training for caregivers.

Participation involves taking part in a 1-hour interview (face-to-face, online or via telephone) with a researcher about personal care assistance for people with dementia. Participants don’t need to be receiving assistance with personal care to take part. (Note: Personal Care is defined in this context as washing, teeth cleaning, going to the toilet, dressing, hair brushing, shaving etc).
