Workforce ‘Together’, ‘I’ and ‘We’ Statements framework launched
The social care Workforce ‘Together’, ‘I’, and ‘We’ Statements framework has been launched, having been developed collaboratively by people drawing on care, caregivers and social care professionals.
Entitled ‘Making it happen together: what good care and support look like’ the Workforce Statements framework includes co-produced statements that are written from three different perspectives:
- ‘Together’ statements – Describe what good looks like when everyone works together to ensure people drawing on care and support co-produce that care and support.
- ‘I’ statements – Describe what good looks like when you are part of the social care workforce.
- ‘We’ statements – Describe what good looks like if you are part of an organisation that commissions or delivers social care.
The Local Government Association (LGA) say of the framework:
“The purpose of the framework is to support improvement in workforce development, wellbeing and quality of care so we can all live ‘gloriously ordinary’ lives.”
