TLAP publish ‘Values and the workforce: the expectations of people with lived experience’

Think Local Act Personal (TLAP) has published a report entitled: ‘Values and the workforce: the expectations of people with lived experience’.

The report is the culmination of work undertaken by TLAP, at the request of the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), to support the development of the Care Workforce Pathway.

TLAP talked to people who draw on care and support to find out what values they think the workforce should have to enable good person-centred care.

TLAP say of this work:

“The workforce having the right values is key to people experiencing good person-centred care. Values translate into behaviour and that’s what people experience.”
