Social Care Future publish their suggestions for the Casey Commission on the future of adult social care

Social Care Future, a UK-based movement of individuals, organisations, and communities working to transform social care, has published a report entitled ‘Growing a brighter future together: Suggestions to the Casey Commission on the future of adult social care’.

The report is the result of Social Care Future’s annual gathering in September 2025 that was attended by over 200 people who draw on adult social care and their allies.

Suggestions include people who draw on care being real partners in decisions about care, changing the national narrative about social care, human rights being front and centre and changes to assessment processes, plus lots more.
