Free Turtle Song sessions being offered in London for people with dementia and their carers

Turtle Song singing and songwriting sessions for people living with dementia and their carers are being offered in London.

The sessions are part of a collaborative project between Turtle Key Arts, English Touring Opera and the Royal College of Music that has been running in different areas of the UK for 16 years. Young musicians support the sessions to create an intergenerational experience.

A participant says of Turtle Song sessions:

“Turtle Song is a friendly, fun and creative experience. Music makes me feel good and for a couple of hours I am transported away from real life. And the tea and coffee were a treat!”
