Expressions of interest wanted for review of culturally adapted dementia care
The Strategy Unit, an NHS organisation specialising in research and evaluation, has been commissioned by the NHS Race and Health Observatory to conduct a review of culturally adapted dementia care in England.
The aim of the review is to identify the need, evidence and practice for cultural adaptations in dementia care to support improvements for global majority communities.
As part of this work NHS staff and other professionals across the dementia pathway – including anyone involved in the design, commissioning or delivery of dementia services – are being invited to take part in online interviews exploring how dementia services can better meet the needs of global majority communities (i.e. people from Black, Asian and other ethnic minority backgrounds).
