CareTech developers invited to apply for Small Grants Programme
A Small Grants Programme has opened to applications from CareTech developers working on the next generation of digital care technologies for adult social care.
The Small Grants Programme is being run by The University of Liverpool CHI-Zone, a collaboration between Liverpool City Region Life Sciences Innovation Zone and the University’s Civic Health Innovation Labs (CHIL). Applications are invited that ‘Enhance the lives of carers, care professionals and people who draw on formal care and support to improve their quality of life’.
Successful applicants will receive help to accelerate the development of their CareTech solutions supported by the University of Liverpool’s Civic Health Innovation Labs (CHIL) and Virtual Engineering Centre (VEC), alongside the National Care Forum (NCF) and NCF members.
The eligibility criteria includes:
- Being a registered, not-for-profit adult social care provider with an operational presence in the Liverpool City Region; OR
- UK-based technology company or industry partner developing solutions for adult social care; OR
- A consortia involving both registered, not-for-profit care providers in the Liverpool City Region and UK-based technology companies / industry partner(s).
