‘Change NHS’ online platform launched

The UK government has launched the ‘Change NHS’ online platform to facilitate what they described as, ‘The biggest national conversation about the future of the NHS since its birth’. 

Everyone, from individuals to organisations, can submit their experiences of the NHS to help shape the government’s 10 Year Health Plan. The Plan, which is due to be published in Spring 2025, will be shaped around three government priorities for healthcare: hospital to community, analogue to digital and sickness to prevention.

    Alzheimer’s Disease International (ADI) has applied to have anti-dementia medications placed on the World Health Organisation’s Essential Medicines List.  ADI said that the move, made alongside Newcastle University and the LSE, would ensure everyone everywhere had equitable and affordable access to dementia medications.
