Chris Roberts, who was diagnosed with mixed dementia (Alzheimer’s disease and vascular dementia) aged 50, has made a film for Alzheimer Europe.
Chris is a member of Alzheimer Europe’s European Working Group of People with Dementia, and has spoken at many conferences as well as supporting numerous organisations with their dementia work.
In the film Chris talks about his life and path to diagnosis, and how being diagnosed has impacted him. Chris says:
“No one should be doing this on their own, and no one should be not talking about it and keeping it a secret, and adding to the very stigma we all complain about.”
