QCS guidance updated

Quality Compliance Systems (QCS), a company providing policies and toolkits to ensure care sector compliance with regulations, has refreshed and expanded its best practice guidance for supported living services.

The content of existing policies has been updated with more inclusive language and new topics have been added such as positive behaviour support and communication. At the same time, content has been better tailored to supported living providers.

Providers signing up to QCS are promised access to a library of expert resources on topics such as enhancing wellbeing, promotion of independence and tenancy agreements.

“When services are steeped in regulation and best practice, the sector can be empowering and change lives for the better, enabling individuals to live the life they choose,” said QCS content director Damaris Daniels.

QCS says it is already supporting more than 140,000 care professionals across more than 6,300 organisations.
