Dementia Carers Count share information for families on bladder and bowel problems in dementia care

Dementia Carers Count has teamed up with Bladder and Bowel UK to highlight the impact bladder and bowel problems can have on people living with dementia and family carers.

Bladder and Bowel UK’s Continence Nurse Specialist Alison Wileman says:

“Bladder and bowel changes can feel like a huge turning point – but they don’t have to mean facing things without support. Small steps, the right information, and early conversations can help you feel more in control and better supported. Most importantly, they can help maintain comfort and dignity for the person you care for.”
