Peer reviewed article published and opportunities to participate available as ‘A Good Life with Dementia’ gathers momentum

A peer-reviewed article has been published in the US journal PLOS One (Public Library of Science) setting out the findings of the University of York study into the Good Life with Dementia course.

Entitled ‘The Good Life with Dementia approach: A realist-informed qualitative study of a peer-tutored course, co-produced with and for people living with dementia’ the article is co-authored by academics, professionals and people with lived experience.

The follow-on study to the one featured in this article is now underway. It is testing the Good Life model across diverse communities in Bristol, Manchester and Sheffield. If you have a diagnosis of dementia and live in one of these areas, you could be involved.
