Five finalists for the Longitude Prize on Dementia announced 

The Longitude Prize on Dementia has announced its finalists. 

They are: 

  • CrossSense, Animorph, UK – Creators of high-tech glasses that help users recognise objects and people. 
  • Theora 360, Clairvoyant Networks, Inc, USA – Creators of a smartwatch to predict and prevent falls. 
  • AUTONOMOUS, Associação Fraunhofer Portugal Research, Portugal – Creators of a smartwatch-based app to provide guidance on daily routines. 
  • Supersense Technologies, UK – Creators of an at-home monitoring-box that protects privacy. 
  • MemoryAid, The MARCS Institute, Western Sydney University, Australia – Creators of a home assistance device styled like a traditional telephone. 

All of the finalists will work with people with lived experience to ensure solutions are co-created. The winner will be announced in early 2026 and receive £1m.
