Free theatre tickets for care staff

As part of Championing Social Care’s Care Home Open Week partnership with The Utley Foundation’s Music for Dementia campaign, a limited number of free tickets are being offered to care staff for the nationwide tour of Matt Seager’s award-winning play, ‘In Other Words’. 

‘In Other Words’ explores the transformative power of music to help reconnect those living with dementia to their loved ones and the world around them.  

The tour is visiting 30 venues across the UK. It started in Reading on 12 March and ends during Dementia Action Week at London’s Arcola Theatre on 24 May. As part of the nationwide tour, six Gala events are being held for care staff in which guests will be offered a free ticket, drinks, goodie bags, and the opportunity to stay for a special post-show discussion with Matthew Seager. 

The Gala events will be held at: 

  • Spring Arts and Heritage Centre, Havant – Thursday 27th March 
  • Nottingham Playhouse – Friday 4th April 
  • Dukes Theatre, Lancaster – Tuesday 15th April 
  • Mercury Theatre, Colchester – Friday 25th April 
  • Capital Theatres: The Studio, Edinburgh – Friday 2nd May 
  • Arcola Theatre, London – Tuesday 20th May (Deadline for tickets 5th May)
