Home Instead has launched a YouTube channel dedicated to raising awareness of dementia and helping families who are impacted by dementia.
The channel aims to support, educate and inform those struggling to look after loved ones with dementia by providing expert advice, step-by-step guides, and stories from other caregivers who’ve faced similar challenges. Topics covered include understanding dementia, managing symptoms, and improving quality of life.
Ruth Brown, Chief Operating Officer, Home Instead, says:
“Our YouTube channel represents a new chapter in Home Instead’s mission: to offer not only professional in-home care but also to offer education and empowerment to family carers, helping them understand more about dementia and navigate their way to better care solutions.”
Steve Thompson, Former England Rugby Player and Advocate for Dementia Awareness, says:
“Raising awareness and understanding of dementia is absolutely vital—not just to help those directly affected but to foster a more compassionate society that knows how to respond and support. Home Instead’s new YouTube channel is a brilliant step forward, providing accessible information and practical advice to help families navigate the challenges of dementia with dignity and confidence.”
