People living with dementia wanted to pilot home monitoring system

Supersense Technologies is looking for people living with dementia to pilot their SenS2 hub, which is one of the shortlisted technologies for the Longitude Prize on Dementia https://journalofdementiacare.co.uk/finalists-longitude-prize-announced

The SenS2 hub is described as a unique monitoring system which works without cameras or microphones, and can help a person living with dementia to retain independence and the ability to remain in their own home for longer. It is a small plug-in box which monitors movements and conditions in someone’s home, for example whether their heating is working, and sends information to family members to provide peace-of-mind.

Dr James Brown, Supersense co-founder, says:

“Everyone experiences dementia differently… and all homes are different. Collecting data is really important, so we can understand the needs people have and develop the algorithms to support the personalised service.”
