A play about the impact of dementia on a Jamaican-British family is coming to the Bush Theatre in Holloway, London.
‘Miss Myrtle’s Garden’ will run from 31 May to 12 July 2025 and has been described as: ‘A wonderfully warm, witty, and life-affirming exploration into how we acknowledge the past as a means to confronting life head on in the present’.
Artistic Director of The Bush Theatre, Lynette Linton, says:
“Dementia, particularly in the Black community and in the Caribbean community, is a conversation that we need to talk about more. It’s affecting so many people… let’s talk about it now and let’s give people the support they need.”
