Police Scotland seeing feedback on digitising the Herbert Protocol
Police Scotland are seeking feedback on digitising the Herbert Protocol to move away from paper forms and use a digital platform for storing details of people with dementia.
The consultation survey, which Police Scotland are particularly keen to have completed by people living with dementia and family carers, can be found here: https://consult.scotland.police.uk/strategy-insight-and-innovation/herbert-protocol/ The survey closes on 2 August 2026.
