This work was commissioned by Alzheimer’s Society and has fed into their larger report, launched on 29th June. This report sought the views and experience of over 2,000 people affected by dementia to understand the gaps in the support offered to them after diagnosis. It found that people’s needs are holistic and wide-ranging, encompassing support for their medical, emotional and social wellbeing, and yet people are often missing out on consistent, timely post-diagnostic care.
