Respondents wanted for survey into inequalities facing ethnic elders within dementia healthcare
The Old Age Faculty of the Royal College of Psychiatrists are running a survey on the inequalities facing ethnic elders within dementia healthcare.
The Old Age Faculty at the Royal College of Psychiatrists say:
“Your responses will help us understand the current service status and the challenges faced by minority ethnic elders within dementia assessment and memory assessment services. It will help document the health inequalities faced by minority ethnic elders and will help shape a position statement by the Faculty to address these inequalities. We also look forward to your free text responses that help us understand your clinical experiences. Please share the survey with all members of the MDT (Multidisciplinary Team) as we are seeking as many responses as possible.”
Please note: The survey has mainly been designed for healthcare professionals. However, if anyone living with dementia and/or unpaid/family carers would like to complete the survey, please tick ‘Other’ when answering the ‘Professional background’ question and identify yourself accordingly.
