Survey launched for the home care workforce on supporting older LGBTQ+ people

A survey has been launched by researchers from the LEAP (LGBTQ+ Inclusive Home Care Provision for Older People) study, supported by Skills for Care, to gather views on how prepared home care workers feel when supporting older (aged 60+) LGBTQ+ people.

Researchers are looking to use insights from the survey to improve training, confidence and support across the home care sector.

To participate you should be in a paid home care role in England or Wales where you support older people. You don’t need any previous experience of caring for LGBTQ+ people to take part.

Complete the survey, which takes around 10 minutes, here:https://universityofkent.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_4MmTp2ZT0qa9pPM
