The Outstanding Society publish LGBTQ+ language guide

The Outstanding Society has published ‘The OSDF Language Guide’, the first output of their Outstanding Diversity Forum (OSDF).

The OSDF Language Guide aims to help the adult social care sector better meet the needs of the LGBTQ+ workforce and LGBTQ+ people who draw on support.

Sanjay Dhrona, The Outstanding Society Director, Diversity, Equality & Inclusion, says:

“This guide is designed to help leaders train, support, and empower teams with a printable reference that supports confident, respectful communication – both about those we support, and with each other. It can be used in supervisions, inductions, group training, and everyday practice.”
