Think Local Act Personal launch Asset Based Commissioning Hub
Think Local Act Personal (TLAP) has launched an Asset Based Commissioning Hub.
Asset-based commissioning looks at the strengths, skills and relationships people and communities already have and builds on those to shape the care and support that’s provided.
The Hub is intended to help professionals:
- Put people and their lived experience at the centre of decisions
- Focus on strengths, relationships and what matters to people
- Make better use of community connections and local resources
- Support independence, wellbeing and a sense of belonging for people who draw on care and support
As well as providing tools, examples and ideas to boost asset-based commissioning, the Hub is intended to be a collaborative space for people with lived experience, commissioners, providers and community partners.
