Two new reports have been published as a part of a series that the Alzheimer’s Society has commissioned from Carnall Farrar.
Following on from the first report in May 2024 highlighting the annual cost of dementia https://www.alzheimers.org.uk/sites/default/files/2024-05/the-annual-costs-of-dementia.pdf, September 2024 has seen the publication of reports looking at the impact of dementia on the health system, and the role that early diagnosis and symptomatic treatment play in reducing system pressures and the likelihood of crisis for people living with dementia.
September 2024 ‘Dementia’s contribution to health metrics’ can be read here: https://www.alzheimers.org.uk/sites/default/files/2024-09/Dementia-contribution-health-metrics.pdf
