Think Local Act Personal launch Choice and Control Hub for social care
Think Local Act Personal (TLAP) has launched a Choice and Control Hub for social care.
The Hub is intended to help professionals:
- Refocus on key ideas around personalised care and support
- Share resources with colleagues to support team learning
- Explore practical guides, including person-centred thinking tools.
TLAP say:
“Choice and control in social care is about people having real power to make decisions about their own lives. That means moving away from services making decisions for people and instead working with people to shape support around what matters to them.
But often, systems can drift towards focusing on problems, processes and services rather than what matters to people. That’s why we’ve launched our new Choice & Control Hub, created to support people who want to shift things back in the right direction.”
