Thrive Winter Wellbeing Calendar Launched

Thrive, the gardening for health charity, have launched a Winter Wellbeing Calendar.

The four-week calendar features a mix of practical, passive, active and creative activities. Some can be done indoors, others outdoors, most need little to no equipment, and you can take part if you have a huge garden or no garden at all.

The aim of the calendar is to support people to increase their time in nature and enjoy the benefits of this, which are known to be numerous for all of us and perhaps especially for people with dementia.

You can access the calendar here: https://www.thrive.org.uk/get-gardening/winter-wellbeing-calendar

Do also keep an eye on our Dementia Community Webinars Programme https://journalofdementiacare.co.uk/events/webinars-2. We are hoping to cover the benefits of nature, gardening and dementia-enabling outdoor design in 2024.
